Virtual tour for art lovers

Ely Standard
12th November 2015

Ely artist Ted Coney has developed a virtual tour for people to access online at any time while his 'Family Portraits' exhibition closes for the winter.

The last physical tour will take place on Sunday December 6, leaving the pop-up gallery on Ely's Waterside until the end of April 2016.

Mr Coney said: "The virtual tour is quite different from a tour in the house, as we can do things which would be impossible, if not on film."

The virtual tour is available from his website www.tedconeysfamilyportraits.co.uk and can be acccessed at any time.

A highlight of the virtual tour sees Ted flying back in time to 1930s Hollywood in his Morris Minor.

During the closure, artist Ted Coney will continue making his paintings about family life and family relationships to add to the fifty paintings he has been producing on the same theme since 1969.
