New booklet to boost tourismEly News3rd July 2013
A new brochure has been produced to promote businesses and tourist attractions in the Waterside and Riverside area of Ely.
The booklet, available throughout the city, was the brainchild of artist Ted Coney whose gallery is in Waterside.
Those who run attractions including the Babylon Gallery, Peacocks Tearooms, Jubilee Gardens, the tour boat Liberty Belle and Waterside Antiques then got involved to fund and produce the brochure, which they hope will encourage more coach tour operators to visit the Riverside.
Ted said: "Various tour operators have already expressed an interest, and we hope to enlarge the leaflet once The Maltings restaurant reopens next spring."
