A group of fifty Original Oil paintings produced by artist Ted Coney on the theme of family life and family relationships.
'I never run out of ideas', says Ted Coney, 'because families are endlessly fascinating.'
The collection starts with a painting about his grandmother and her four sisters, produced in 1969. He is now working on a painting involving eel traps and the links between Ely and New Zealand.
Most of the paintings are oil on canvas, though there are some examples of painting on glass, wood and Ivorene.
The history of family and symbolism in paintings play a key role in this original collection.
Postcards of five of the paintings are for sale.
Guides to accompany each of the eight tours are also for sale. Prints of some of the paintings and drawings are available to buy at UK Photo Gallery.
Occasionally preliminary studies (oil on canvas) for some of the paintings are for sale. Please ask for details.
